Application of Centreless Turning machine
Centreless turning machine is also known as bar peeling machine or steel peeling machine. It have unique advantages for turning long bars (including long coil). Ordinary lathes can only process short bars, and when processing long materials, it is necessary to clamp and align the long bars several times, and it is difficult to ensure the coaxiality and roundness of the processed bars, and there is always taper. On the other hand, no matter how long or how many bars are processed continuously, the centerless turning machine can ensure the high precision processing of all bar materials because it only needs one tool setting, and since it is fundamentally different from the processing form of ordinary lathe, the disadvantages of ordinary lathe are completely improved in the processing of long materials.
The iron scraps removed from centerless turning machine can all be recycled, and the unit price can be bought at least half of the finished steel, which can substantially increase the factory profit, while it will cause powder generation by centerless grinding machine, and the fragments do not have much recycling value.
