Workpiece vibrating
Uneven wear on the working surface of the grinding wheel or blunt grinding wheel, system vibration and uneven hardness of the grinding wheel can all cause vibration and ripples.
Grinding wheel vibration: Grinding wheel vibration is the main source of vibration. Workers do not statically balance the grinding wheel or do not dynamically balance it. Some even install new grinding wheels directly on the grinding machine.
Motor and pulley vibration: The motor and pulley which drives the grinding wheel are unbalanced, and the driving belt is uneven in thickness and length, causing the belt to become loose and tight, or even slip; in addition, the gap between the grinding wheel spindle and the bearing is too large, causing vibrations when the grinding wheel rotates. The vibrations create ripples.
