Classification of sawing machines
Circular saw
Circular sawing machine, also known as circular sawing machine, is divided into automatic and semi-automatic. The circular saw blade performs a rotating cutting motion, and at the same time, it performs a feeding motion with the saw box (see figure). According to the feeding direction of the saw blade, the circular sawing machine is divided into three types: horizontal type (horizontal feed), vertical type (vertical feed) and pendulum type (swing feed around a fulcrum). In addition, there are various special circular sawing machines, such as the swing sawing machine for cutting the pouring riser of large castings; the saw-drilling machine tool for rail sawing and drilling.
Band saw
The circular saw belt is tensioned on two saw wheels, and the saw wheels drive the saw belt for cutting. There are two main types of band saws: vertical and horizontal. The saw frame of the vertical band sawing machine is set vertically, and the workpiece moves during cutting, which is used to cut the curve contour of the sheet and the formed parts. The saw frame of the horizontal band sawing machine is arranged horizontally or obliquely, and is fed in the vertical direction or in the direction of swinging around a fulcrum. The saw belt is generally twisted by 40° to keep the sawtooth perpendicular to the workpiece. Horizontal type is divided into scissor type, double column and single column type band sawing machine; according to the usage, it is divided into manual type (economical manual feeding and manual cutting of materials), automatic type; according to the automation program using the controller, it can be divided into manual type ( Semi-automatic manual feeding) fully automatic type (automatic feeding and automatic cutting)
Hack saw
The saw bow equipped with the saw blade reciprocates and feeds in the way that the saw frame swings around a fulcrum. The machine tool is simple in structure and small in size, but has low efficiency. There are two kinds of motion trajectory of hack saw blade: straight line and arc. When the arc moves, the saw bow swings a small angle around the fulcrum. The cutting amount of each saw tooth is large, the chip removal is easy, and the efficiency is high. Most of the new hack saw machines adopt this method.
