Gathering wisdom on roll technology innovation, the 17th Metallurgical Roll Conference
Roller, as an important component in the iron and steel metallurgy, machinery manufacturing and other industries,
its quality directly affects the stable operation of the production line and the quality of the product. With the
upgrading of global metallurgical industry technology, steel companies have put forward higher requirements for
the performance, quality and life of rolls, which also drives roll companies to seek technological breakthroughs and
process innovations.
In order to further promote the innovative development of roll production and manufacturing technology and
promote the smart use of rolls in the steel rolling production process, the (17th) Metallurgical Roller Production
Technology Innovation and Steel Rolling Smart Use Roller Exchange Conference, hosted by the International
Cooperation Service Center of the Metallurgical Industry of the China Construction Association, was held in
Anyang City, Henan Province from October 20 to 22, 2024.
