Grinding wheel control system for roll grinding machines
The grinding wheel of the roll grinding machine is driven by a Siemens 1PH7 AC spindle motor with a Siemens Sine/Cos1Vpp, 2048 S/R photoelectric encoder, which completes the closed-loop control of the grinding wheel speed and position. The grinding wheel can be rotated in the forward and reverse direction and the angle can be positioned automatically. In addition, the use of AC spindle motors greatly facilitates the maintenance of the grinding wheel motors. The use of an AC spindle motor for the grinding wheel of up to 100 kW ensures that the roll grinding machine is capable of powerful grinding and meets the user's requirements for fast and heavy duty roll processing.
