How to grind the grinder roller well
When grinding the roll of a roll grinder, you need to pay attention to the following points:
1. Adjust the grinding wheel angle. Ensure that the contact area between the grinding wheel and the roller body is
the largest to obtain the best grinding effect. Adjust the position of the grinding wheel by running the grinding wheel
at a low speed and contacting the roller body.
2. Control the feed speed. Set an appropriate feed speed according to the material of the roller, the size after rough
grinding and the grinding requirements to avoid over-processing or inefficiency.
3. Use appropriate coolant. Select the appropriate coolant according to the roll material and grinding purpose to
reduce friction heat and reduce wear.
4. Pay attention to the grinding load. Control the grinding load within the rated load range of the grinder to avoid
equipment damage caused by excessive load.
5. Clean up waste materials in time. Clean the metal chips and grinding slag produced by the grinder to prevent
damage to the environment and equipment.
6. Select the appropriate grinding tool. Select the appropriate grinding tool according to the material, hardness and
surface quality of the roll.
7. Control surface quality. Control the roughness, flatness and roundness of surface quality by adjusting the size,
shape and motion trajectory of the grinding tool.
8. Control grinding pressure. Controlling grinding pressure to prevent damage to the roll surface takes into account
factors such as grinding depth, fixture stiffness and grinding tool hardness.
9. Ensure grinding accuracy. Use a high-precision grinder and adjust the grinding accuracy according to the actual
situation to ensure that the size and shape of the grinded roll meet the requirements.
10. Optimize grinder performance. By adjusting parameters such as grinding head speed, cutting speed and feed
speed, and using digital control technology, high-precision processing control is achieved.
11. Strictly control the processing technology. Carry out adequate cleaning and maintenance before processing,
and strictly control parameters such as grinding depth, speed, grinding head shape and roller area.
12. Strengthen quality monitoring and testing. Use non-contact optical inspection equipment, three-dimensional
measuring instruments, etc. to detect the size, shape and material properties of the grinding rollers, and conduct
on-site quality control.
