How to maintain the grinding accuracy of a roll grinder?
As a key process in roll processing, the accuracy of the grinder is the key. The quality of the product is related to the quality of the roll. Therefore, many steel mills and roll manufacturers spend a lot of money to purchase roll grinders from well-known brands at home and abroad. High-precision roll grinder is the key to processing rolls, but how to maintain the accuracy of high-precision roll grinder for a long time is the key. The roll grinder is only a key component in processing high-precision products, but it is not all. So how can we keep the accuracy of the roller mill from declining for a long time?
Methods for maintaining high precision in roll grinders: The spire is the core component of the grinder. Whether the disassembly and assembly of the spire is standardized determines the precision maintenance life of the grinder. The movement of the tailstock and the expansion and contraction of the sleeve also have a great impact on the accuracy of the machine tool. People are the center of the whole event, and their role in the grinding roller must be fully utilized. In order to maintain the high accuracy of the machine tool for a long time, the management methods for maintaining the accuracy of the roll grinder for a long life are summarized:
Ⅰ. Installation of the center:
1. Before installing the spire, clean and wipe the tapered hole and end surface of the main spindle box and tailstock spindle with cleaning agent.
2. Before installing the nozzle, clean and wipe the rear cone surface, rear end surface and front cone surface of the nozzle with detergent.
3. It is strictly prohibited to use any inappropriate bolts for top fastening.
4. If any broken buckle is found on the bolt that closes the center, it is prohibited to continue using it.
Ⅱ. Tightening of the top bolts:
1. Tighten the bolts diagonally by hand.
2. Use a torque wrench to tighten diagonally and gradually.
3. Tighten the top to ensure rotation accuracy. If the rotation accuracy exceeds the standard, check the reason. If the cause is not identified, use must not continue.
Ⅲ. Unloading center:
1. Loosen the bolts closing the center one by one in a diagonal manner.
2. One person supports the top and one person disassembles the anchor rod; after removing the bolts, remove the suction head and place it gently on the suction head holder.
3. When unloading the top, if you find that the head and tail frames are not in good lubrication condition, you need to ask maintenance personnel to eliminate the lubrication failure before you can top.
Ⅳ. Preparations before mounting the workpiece:
1. Before mounting the workpiece on the machine tool, you need to check whether the angle between the center hole and the top of the workpiece matches. The angle of the tool tip needs to be consistent with the center hole of the workpiece.
2. There is no high point in the center hole of the workpiece. Before loading the machine tool, the center hole of the workpiece must be ground. The contact area between the tool tip and the center hole of the workpiece needs to reach more than 75%, and the contact end between the center hole and the tool tip should be at the big end.
3. Spray and clean the center hole of the workpiece with cleaning agent to prevent tip wear.
Ⅴ. Movement of the tailstock and expansion and contraction of the sleeve:
1. Before moving the tailstock, the guide rail surface where the tailstock is located needs to be kept clean, and there must be no dirt in the frame. If the guide rail surface is not clean or there is dust in the frame, the tailstock cannot be started.
2. Before moving the tailstock, the fuel tank of the tailstock clamping cylinder needs to maintain sufficient and effective oil volume.
3. Always maintain sufficient oil in the lubricating oil tank on the surface of the tailstock guide rail.
The grinding accuracy of the roll is the result, and maintaining this result requires the cooperation of several aspects: high-precision machine tools, a high-quality operating team that strictly follows the operating requirements, a high-quality machine tool maintenance team, etc. Only when these aspects are met can high-precision products be processed and the high precision of machine tools maintained for a long time.
