The forming process of seamless pipe is different from that of ordinary welded pipe. Ordinary steel pipes, such as water pipes, are generally welded by bending the flat materials. The seamless steel pipe is generally formed by processing such as stretching after the molten steel is accumulated through the annular slit, so that there is no weld, the strength of the pipe is naturally higher, the industrial value will also increase, and the price is slightly higher than that of ordinary welded pipe.
Welded pipe is a pipe made of steel plate and other materials. Therefore, the first step in the production of welded pipe is to flatten the raw material (steel plate), and then conduct basic cutting and welding according to the required specific shape, diameter and size. After the above process is completed, professional steps shall be taken to make the welded pipe have preliminary forming effect. In contrast to straight seam welded pipe, there is another type called spiral welded pipe. This type of welded pipe is mainly made of carbon steel or alloy steel. Unlike straight seam welded pipe, spiral welded pipe can be directly formed. It needs to be shaped according to the specified forming angle. Therefore, compared with straight seam welded pipe, the manufacturing process of spiral welded pipe is relatively complicated. However, such welded pipe equipment is much better than straight seam welded pipe in terms of both the treatment of welding interface and the compression and corrosion resistance during use.
