Overview and development status of the rolls

Rolls in the metal product calendering rolling process will occur micron-level physical and chemical wear, resulting in the roll surface geometric accuracy (surface roughness, roundness and roll shape accuracy) gradually lost, which reduces the quality of rolled material and mill efficiency, the rolled material defective or scrap increased. Roll wear mechanism is more complex, including the role of mechanical stress, rolling high temperature oxidation, cooling effect, lubricating medium chemical action. In order to ensure product quality, the loss of precision rolls need to use the roll grinder for offline repair, restore precision before continuing to use.
