Overview of CNC roll grinding machine
CNC roll grinding machine is an important supporting equipment for steel sheet rolling production line, whose grinding accuracy and grinding efficiency directly affect the rolling quality and production efficiency of steel plates. During the rolling process of steel plates, the geometric accuracy of the roll face is damaged due to high temperature oxidation and mechanical wear, and the roll face needs to be repaired periodically. In order to meet the process requirements for plate shape control, the roll face busses need to be processed into various special high-squares curves according to different process requirements.
The work rolls and the support rolls are also repaired by grinding. At the same time, the work rolls and the support rolls have to be coupled and matched with each other according to certain requirements, so the processing difficulty is high. The product is a metal cutting machine tool, which is composed of bed, headstock, tailstock, bracket, longitudinal and transverse dragging plate, grinding head, measuring frame and electric numerical control system, divided into five subsystems: bearing system, driving system, grinding system, measuring system and control system. The workpiece is supported by the headstock, tailstock and bracket, and driven by the headstock for rotation.
The CNC control system controls the machine tool for multi-axis compound motion according to the mathematical model of the roll surface bus, and realizes the grinding of the grinding wheel on the roll surface metal during the motion. The online measurement system feeds the measurement data to the grinding machine control system in real time, and the control system provides closed-loop control of the machine tool, thus completing the precision machining of the workpiece.
