The grinding wheel is one of the main parts of the CNC roll grinder, and its quality will directly affect the grinding quality of the roll grinder.Therefore, when selecting a grinding wheel, the abrasive, hardness, granularity and adhesive of the grinding wheel should be considered comprehensively.
Firstly, it is the selection of material of grinding wheel. The grinding work is done by the wheel, and wrong selection of main material of grinding wheel, will directely influnece grinding quality of roll grinding machine.
Secondly, the hardness of grinding wheel. If the grinding wheel is too hard, then the blunt abrasive grains will not fall off easily, and the grinding wheel will be easy to be blocked, then it will increase the grinding heat, and cause workpiece to be burned damaged. Therefore it will reduce the grinding efficiency and affect the grinding quality; on the contrary, if the selected grinding wheel is choose a too soft , the abrasive particles will fall off when they are still sharp, which will not only increase the wearing of the grinding wheel, but also easily lose the correct geometry, which will ultimately affect the accuracy of the workpiece.
