Vibration isolation method and material comparison of roll grinder
Yesterday, we have shared why it is recommended to equip elastic vibration isolation system for roll grinding machine. Today we will share the vibration isolation method and material comparison used by the roll grinding machine.
1. Comparison of vibration isolation methods
Traditional vibration isolation methods: sand cushions, digging anti-vibration trenches, heightening pads, rubber pads, padding sleepers, etc. Those methods cannot fundamentally solve the transmission and harm of vibration sources. Vibration still spreads to the surroundings through the equipment foundation-foundation-soil, which affects the work of surrounding personnel and roll grinder. At the same time, it will also cause vibration of building floors and walls, and emit structural noise, that is, secondary noise.
Roll grinder vibration isolation system: It is composed of roll grinder, cement block, spring vibration isolator, lower support surface and other structures. Since the workpiece part and the grinding wheel part of the CNC roll grinder are independent, it is necessary to set up a cement pedestal below to connect each part into a whole, which also increases the rigidity of the system. A spring damping vibration isolator is installed under the cement foundation. After the vibration isolation system of the CNC roll grinder is excited by the vibration of the ground, the vibration transmitted to the grinding machine pedestal structure will be effectively attenuated.
2. Comparison of vibration isolation materials
There are three types of vibration isolation materials used in roll grinders: air spring vibration isolators, rubber vibration isolators, and spring damping vibration isolators. Although the air spring vibration isolator has good vibration reduction effect, it has short service life (1-5 years), high failure rate, small bearing capacity and high cost. The rubber vibration isolator only works in the high frequency range, the vibration isolation efficiency is poor (the vibration isolation efficiency is only 30%-50%), the service life is short (2-3 years), and there are static and dynamic related parameters of the equipment that cannot be accurately calculated.
The damping materials used in roll grinders include friction damping, micro-gap damping, and viscous damping. The friction damping parameters are unstable, the deformation curve is nonlinear, and the small amplitude does not work; the microgap damping is easy to wear, has a short life, and requires frequent maintenance; the viscous damping performance is stable, aging resistance, good linearity, accurate calculation, large damping coefficient, and compact structure.
